The GCCOA is an all-volunteer organization, formed in 1973. Our mission is “To support and advocate for services and resources for the aging, which promote and safeguard their independence and well-being.”
The Comission today is made up of about 70 local businesses, organizations, government agencies, and individuals. We receive no government funding of any kind, and are supported entirely by our Membership, their fundraising efforts and private donations.
